Konto Pottery is my little corner of the world where creativity, advocacy, and everyday life come together. I create handmade ceramics that are meant to be used, loved, and lived with - pieces that bring an extra sense of joy to your day. Hi, I’m Georgia - the hands behind the clay.

I’ve always been a creative person for as long as I can remember. I was constantly making something and asking for a new art kit for my birthday every year.
But, everything changed when I took my first ceramics class during my freshman year of high school. I was hooked immediatley. What started as one class (which I joined a month late), quickly became something I couldnt get enough of. I found every excuse to spend all of my time in the ceramics studio, from spending all of my lunches there to skipping more than a few classes just to make more pottery.
Years later, that same excitement is still what keeps me coming back to the wheel. What started as a freshman year ceramics class, turned into something I never expected: a creative outlet, a passion, and now Konto Pottery.

For me, pottery has never been about making something perfect. It’s been about making something that feels like you. Every piece of pottery is made by hand, and I find it so important to embrace the individuality each item has! I am inspired by the little details in life that make ordianry things beautiful.
Made Slowly-Made Imperfectly- Made to be used and loved!

Living with a chronic illness has changed the way I create and see the world. I’ve learned that creativity doesn’t have to happen on a perfect schedule, but instead when your body allows. Through Konto Pottery I aim to use my voice alongside my art to bring more awareness to chronic illnesses, invisible disabilities, and the experiences that often go unseen.
As a part of this initiative, customers will have an opportunity to donate to Children’s National Hospital, in addition to 15% of all sales going to children and families in need.
